(KSL News) -- A firefighter needed medical treatment this morning while fighting the Pilot Fire just north of Wendover.
The Bureau of Land Management is in charge of fighting the fire. Right now managers there don't know exactly what happened, or even if it was fire related.
The fire made a significant run overnight with the help of some strong winds, increasing from 200 acres to 700 or 800 acres.
Several homes were threatened, but no evacuations were ordered.
Lightning started the fire a few days ago.
