(KSL News) A new proposal could keep some court documents sealed from the public to protect those cooperating with authorities.

Under the new rule, cooperation agreements posted in the electronic docket of Utah's federal court would be off-limits to the public.

The proposal is in response to certain Web sites that use online court documents to publicly identify defendants who are working with authorities.
