SALT LAKE CITY — Winter weather conditions prompted closure or delayed start at some schools along the Wasatch Front Tuesday.
All schools in the Park City School District were closed for the day, making it the first snow day for the district in 15 years, a spokesman said. Park City has received 17 inches of new snow from the latest winter storm, according to onthesnow.com.
In the Canyons School District, all schools ran on a two-hour delayed start, and employees of the district were asked to arrive when they can do so safely. Morning preschool and kindergarten classes were canceled.
