SALT LAKE CITY — Three more fun highlights from the world of sports in today's From Left Field!

1. High school player points at half-court line, pulls up from there, sinks it

LaMelo Ball, younger brother of UCLA star Lonzo Ball, is just a sophomore in high school. But he has adult levels of swagger, to be sure. On this play, he dribbles up the court, points repeatedly to the halfcourt line, then just pulls up from there and swishes it.

Lonzo Ball is a treat to watch at UCLA, but if his brother is already at the "pulling up from half-court and sinking threes" level, we may be seeing something special in a few years.

2. This Manchester United flick goal is something else

Manchester United's new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been phenomenally effective for the legendary English club this season, but this goal was his best yet. Mkhitaryan flicks this cross on goal with the bottom of his boot to hit an impossible-to-stop shot.

Words can't even describe how good Mkhitaryan's goal was. So just watch it. #MUFC#PLonNBCpic.twitter.com/KRDem9r8ev — NBC Sports Soccer (@NBCSportsSoccer) December 26, 2016

Yes, it was offside. Oh well, we still got to see an incredible piece of skill.

3. Hawaii's creative fake punt

This was a pretty incredible play, most of all by Hawaii's long snapper. Makoa Camanese-Stevens lined up behind the punter on this play, then threw a pass to his teammate Ammon Barker for a first down.

It seems needlessly difficult to have the receiver lined up that far back, but it worked! ![](https://beacon.deseretconnect.com/beacon.gif?cid=471865&pid=4)
