MILLCREEK — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a stolen vehicle and trailer that have sentimental value for the victim.
The theft occurred around Dec. 12 at the victim’s home in Millcreek, according to Unified police. A trailer containing a two-stroke, green and white shifter car was stolen after a man hooked up to it with his also stolen GMC truck and drove away, police said.
The GMC truck has a unique black roll bar on the back and the license plates on the truck do not match and don’t belong to the GMC, police said.
The shifter car has a No. 46 on it and is valued at around $12,000, police said. The car, along with the trailer, has deep sentimental value for the owner. The victim had the trailer constructed 25 years ago and towed it to many races that he and his son competed in. Some of the graphics on the trailer are specific to his son who died in the 1990s, police said.
Anyone with information about the stolen GMC truck, trailer or two-stroke car should contact the Unified Police Department at 385-468- 9631.
