(KSL News) Layton police are looking for a man who may have tried to kidnap a 6-year-old boy.
The Deseret News reports the boy was at a playground at Layton Elementary School about 9:20 a.m. Saturday.
The boy says a man in a white Dodge pick up said something to try to get him into his truck. The boy ran toward his father, and the truck sped out of the parking lot.
The Deseret News says the pick up is described as 2003 or 2004 year model, white, extended cab with a diesel engine and some type of vinyl sticker writing on the side. The driver was described as white, in his 60s, balding, wearing glasses with a white buttoned-up shirt.
