LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Jeremy Senglin had 22 points, including three 3-pointers, Jerrick Harding hit three more 3s and scored 14 and Weber State held off Utah State for a 77-71 win on Wednesday night.
Kyndahl Hill added 11 points and seven rebounds and Ryan Richardson scored 10.
Utah State took a 67-66 lead on a layup by Koby McEwen with 2:55 left but Senglin hit two free throws before Richardson converted a 4-point play and Zach Braxton hit 1 of 2 foul shots to put the Wildcats up 73-67. Two free throws apiece from Shane Rector and Quinn Taylor pulled the Aggies within two with 58 seconds to play, but Utah State wouldn't score again.
Weber State (4-6) shot 52 percent (26 of 50) from the field. The Wildcats have won three in a row after a four-game skid and snapped a four-game slide against the Aggies.
Jalen Moore had 18 points for Utah State (6-5), which had won three straight. McEwen scored 15.
