SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah man has a unique perspective on the current civil war in Syria: He's seen it from the front lines.
Freeman Stevenson is one of just a handful of Americans who have traveled overseas and joined up with militant fighters in Syria battling against ISIS. He didn't expect to make it home. Now he's considering going back.
