POP LAKE CITY — In 2016, politics dominated pop culture and vice versa.
In this week’s KSL.com Pop Talk podcast, hosts Xoel Càrdenas, Sean Walker and Ember Casler discuss some of the major pop culture headlines of 2016. Some of the topics include the death of David Bowie, “Hamilton” rising, Muhammad Ali’s death, and the 2016 Presidential election.
The crew also discuss “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” as it hits theaters. Sean and Ember are excited for the movie, while Xoel is not as thrilled. The new Spider Man trailer is also discussed. In this case, Ember and Xoel talk about how they’re not so thrilled, while Sean is very excited for the flick.
The pop crew talk about some of their favorite Christmas food. Lastly, a small tribute to Alan Thicke closes the show.
