In fewer than 24 hours, a brand new roadway will open in Utah. The Legacy Parkway project took over a decade to complete, due to legal battles between UDOT and environmentalists. The result of the battle was a political compromise and a 14-mile stretch of road from I-215 at 2100 North in North Salt Lake to the U.S. 89/I-15 Junction in Farmington.
Marc Heileson of the Sierra Club and Todd Jensen with UDOT are joining in a discussion on the parkway tonight in Talking Point.
