SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Simi Socks and Shawn Johnson combined for 35 points as Incarnate Word charged back late in the second half to beat LIU Brooklyn 90-79 on Saturday.

Socks was 7 of 11 from the floor for 18 points. Johnson had 17 points and four assists, Jorden Kite added 14 points, Jalin Hart had 12 and Devin Wyatt chipped in 10 for Incarnate Word (3-3).

LIU Brooklyn held a 45-41 lead at the break, but the Cardinals shot 58.6 percent in the second half to win that period 49-34.

The Blackbirds were still up 61-55 midway through the second half. Incarnate Word took the lead for good when Socks had a layup and Johnson slammed a dunk for a 73-71 advantage with 3:21 left as the Cardinals finished the game on a 21-8 run.

Jashaun Agosto nailed 4 of 5 from beyond the arc for a career-high 22 points for LIU Brooklyn (6-2).
