We're learning more about Gov. Sarah Palin through her first press interview with ABC. But will Utahns get to see John McCain's vice presidential nominee up close?
Jeff Wright is the chairman of what is now called the McCain-Palin Victory Finance Group here in Utah. In other words, he's leading the McCain effort here.
He says he would love to see Palin come to town.
"We have requested that she come to Utah. I think we can put on a good showing for her here in Utah both in support and in fundraising. But there are clearly needs in other states, and it's going so well they may stick to that strategy," he said.
He says they hope to see what they call a fly-by, maybe a quick stop in the state. But so far there are no plans for Palin to come to Utah.
