FARMINGTON — A man was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition Wednesday after he was found unconscious on the ground at a construction site, officials said.
The man was working at the construction site of Farmington High School at 650 W. Glovers Lane, and another worker found him lying on the ground unconscious around 3:30 p.m., according to Chief Wayne Hansen with the Farmington Police Department.
The incident is still under investigation, but police believe an industrial accident caused the man to pass out, according to Hansen.
