(KSL News) A two-car crash in Midvale sent a pregnant woman to the hospital and a man to jail.
Midvale police say the driver of a Blazer ran a red light at 7720 South State Street and t-boned a car with a woman and a pitbull inside.
The woman is six months pregnant. Her leg was broken in the wreck, but she should be okay. The dog had a few cuts and bruises but will recover.
The man inside the Blazer took off, but officers caught him a few blocks away. They say he had been drinking.
He'll likely face charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
