LEHI — I love the Mannequin Challenge. It's such a simple concept — everyone just has to be very still for a few seconds while you pan a camera across the room — but the videos are so impressive and fun to watch.
The Lehi Fire Department apparently agrees with me, because it got in on the meme action and made its own Mannequin Challenge video.
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
The video is a bit more unique than others, because it gives us a look into the lives of the firefighters who protect our communities. In the middle of the video, they get a "call" to go to a fire, and it takes just a split-second for the table where they were holding their mannequin poses so well to be completely empty.
Throughout the rest of the video we see the firefighters frozen in place while in the process of suiting up, hopping in the truck and heading out to fight a fire. Watch the video — it's a cool entry into the Mannequin Challenge archive, but it's especially cool to see our local firefighters having some fun.
