PROVO — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a driver who hit a pedestrian Friday morning and then continued driving.

About 4:45 a.m., a 53-year-old Provo man was hit in the intersection of 300 S. University Ave. The four-way stop is well lit and has crossing lights. A passerby discovered the man in the road after he had been hit.

The man, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
