CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was 1.20 cents lower at $4.1560 a bushel; December corn was 1.20 cents higher at $3.5220 bushel; December oats was .40 cent higher at $2.11 a bushel while November soybeans gained 6.40 cents to $9.820 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was 2.25 cents higher at $1.0128 a pound; October feeder cattle was .68 cent higher at $1.2243 pound; December lean hogs gained 1.20 cent to $.4230 a pound.
