CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Lottery Corporation is launching a promotional campaign to garner interest for a new draw game set to debut in December.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/2dBgNbI ) that starting in December Wyoming residents will be able to play Lucky for Life, a draw game that emphasizes a gradual payoff over time instead of a massive lump sum such as those awarded by games like Powerball.
The grand prize is an annuity that pays $1,000 a day for "life," which is a maximum of 30 years, bringing the total winnings to $10,957,000 before taxes or other deductions. Second prize is $25,000 a year for 30 years, with smaller prizes ranging from $3 to $5,000.
Lucky for Life is currently played in 20 other states.
