OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A Clinton man has been accused of helping the killer of Teresa Axbom set fire to her duplex.
Dean Jason Imlay, 26, was arrested Tuesday for investigation of aggravated arson and was being held in the Weber County Jail on $20,000 bail. Weber County Attorney Mark DeCaria said Imlay has been charged.
Danny Allen Reyes, 36, of Farr West is accused of killing the 35-year-old Ogden woman. He was arraigned Wednesday on first-degree felony charges of murder and aggravated arson, and third-degree felony charges of tampering with evidence and tampering with a witness.
Charging documents allege Reyes hit the woman in the back of the head several times with a meat cleaver.
Axbom's charred body was found by firefighters early Sunday.
Reyes was arrested July 23 on misdemeanor and felony drug charges.
Imlay pleaded guilty in 2000 to theft, riot and attempted robbery charges.
