LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Oregon running back Royce Freeman took himself out of the 22nd-ranked Ducks' game against Nebraska with an apparent leg injury.

Freeman came out during the Ducks' second possession of the game. Athletic trainers were working on his right leg. He was on the sideline with a towel on his head in the second quarter.

Freeman had 31 yards on five carries before getting hurt. It wasn't known whether he would be able to return.

He ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns against Virginia last week.
