SOLDIER HOLLOW — Thousands of spectators and dozens of dogs descended on the rolling hills outside Midway over Labor Day weekend for the annual Vita Bone Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship & Festival.
The highly trained dogs and their handlers tested themselves against a herd of wild range Rocky Mountain ewes, bringing them down the mountainside along a preset course and through free standing gates.
Dogs also competed in dock diving and an agility course.
