NEW YORK (AP) — A new campaign book is coming out at the end of September, from Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.
Broadside, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Johnson's "Common Sense for the Common Good: Libertarianism as the End of Two-Party Tyranny" will be released as an e-book on Sept. 27. A hardcover edition, with additional material, will be published in the spring. Johnson said in a statement that his book will examine "the root causes that have brought the two-party system to crisis."
Johnson, the former governor of New Mexico, has polled 10 percent or more in some surveys. He has been critical of both major party candidates, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.
Johnson's running mate is another former GOP governor, William Weld of Massachusetts.
