WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) -- A man who broke into a West Valley City home over the weekend apparently bled to death once inside.

It happened on Saturday night at 2943 West and 3550 South.

Police say officers were called to the mobile home after a woman reported someone was trying to break in.

When officers got there, they found 21-year-old Tino Valencia unconscious inside the home. Authorities say the man broke the front window with his arms, severed his arteries and then bled to death.

Detectives are still investigating.
