OREM, Utah (AP) -- Authorities make a major drug bust in Orem after discovering what's believed to be nearly four-hundred pounds of marijuana in a rental van.
It happened about midnight on Friday after troopers pulled over a 24-year-old man for a traffic violation.
The Utah Highway Patrol trooper apparently smelled marijuana when he approached the vehicle. So, the officer searched the front seat -- but found nothing.
However, a police dog later arrived and led officers to the back of the van, where they apparently found 20 boxes of a green, leafy substance.
The man was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of possession of marijuana.
