(KSL News) A teen accused of killing a Cedar City group home counselor can be tried for capital murder.

The Utah Supreme Court reversed a former ruling which reduced the capital charge against Sean Graham to first- degree felony murder.

Graham is one of two men accused of beating Anson Arnett to death with a bat.

Both suspects were 17 years old at the time of the slaying.

The high court ruled the killing was intentionally or knowingly caused. If convicted, Graham could face the death penalty.
