YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARKS, Wyo. (AP) — Visitors to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks are enjoying free admission, while firefighters in both parks are preparing for an expected increase in fire activity over the weekend. Weather forecasts predict warmer temperatures, lower humidity and increased wind, all of which means fires in the two parks will likely become more active through the weekend.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — An Ecuadorian woman has fallen to her death in Yellowstone National Park. Twenty-one-year-old Estefania Liset Mosquera Alcivar was a park concession worker.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — A Natrona County detention officer accused of leaking information about a sexual assault case has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully releasing a confidential name. Brendon Littau entered his plea Friday and requested a jury trial. He is accused of disclosing the names of those involved in a rape investigation to a relative who shared the information with the suspect in the assault case. The suspect then contacted the person who reported the assault.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A Wyoming legislative panel has dismissed a complaint that accused a senator of ethics violations for voting to approve funding for an abandoned mine land reclamation program that has issued contracts to his company. Senate President Phil Nicholas on Friday announced that the panel has dismissed the complaint against Riverton Republican Sen. Eli Bebout.
