BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a collision between a minivan and a semitrailer in rural Canyon County has left one person dead and several others injured.
KTVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2bFsxpy ) that the crash happened at an intersection Sunday afternoon west of Lake Lowell.
Police say it appears the driver of the minivan ran a stop sign before crashing into the semitrailer.
Investigators believe at least six people were in the van at the time of the crash, three of whom were ejected from the vehicle. Police say the driver had to be extricated from the van.
The semitrailer driver was uninjured.
The names of the deceased and those who were injured have not been released.
