He walked for miles to get his freedom, but when a teen decided to run, he got caught.
Police say the 17-year-old walked away from a youth detention center in Mona Monday night. He then walked all the way to Provo, a distance of about 34 miles.
An officer says the boy was hanging out near a 7-Eleven "looking squirrely," so they went to talk to him. The boy ran, but the officer caught him.
Now the boy will be heading back to Mona.
