(KSL News) An Arizona judge has denied a request to send charges against FLDS leader Warren Jeffs back to the grand jury.
Lawyers for Jeffs had requested the charges against him be re-screened, claiming that the prosecution had presented false or misleading evidence to the grand jury. However, yesterday a judge ruled against those issues.
Jeffs is charged with being an accomplice to sexual conduct with a minor.
He was convicted of similar charges here in Utah last fall.
