We found a few utility crews still out today, finishing up work on the power system. A total of 45 major power lines fell down during the storm, dozens of other smaller poles were damaged as well.
The biggest loss came to trees all over South Provo. Hundreds and hundreds of trees fell down while others lost big branches. We found people are still cleaning up, including the Palu brothers, who we found helping out in the neighborhood.
Tanieli Palu: "Been helping to clean up from the storm that happened a week ago."
George Palu: "Just trees everywhere, helping to pick it all up."
Last week we told you about the Finch family's big pumpkin patch. It is looking a lot better today than it was a week ago, which is great news, because initially it looked like all 26 acres of pumpkins were destroyed, but as you can see the plants are looking good.
Overall, Provo City says the damage from the storm is still in the range of 13-million dollars. Five million of that is to public property at the airport, city parks and East Bay golf course.
