MOUNT GRETNA, Pa. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a Pennsylvania man accused of threatening two nurses at gunpoint to spring his girlfriend from a mental health care hospital.

Police say his 21-year-old girlfriend, Alicia Buzzard, was found safe with him Friday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Authorities began their search for Buzzard and 18-year-old Elliott Ravert on Tuesday night. Police say Ravert took Buzzard from Philhaven Hospital in Mount Gretna and threatened to shoot the nurses if they didn't cooperate. Authorities aren't sure if Buzzard went willingly.

Buzzard's mother tells LNP newspaper (http://bit.ly/2b1Yt9a ) the pair had visited Ravert's friend in Manheim Township before taking off again. She told the paper her daughter was apparently in good spirits.

Ravert faces aggravated assault, terroristic threats and robbery charges.

He will be extradited back to Pennsylvania.
