SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The owner of a poker supply company who set his business on fire twice in order to collect the insurance money has been sentenced.
Yesterday, a judge ordered 29-year-old Christopher A. Shilts to serve five years in prison, three years of probation and pay about 188-thousand dollars in restitution.
Shilts also admitted to selling two vehicles and a boat without having a title to them and using a fake Social Security number. He pleaded guilty to arson, wire fraud and Social Security number fraud back in May.
Shilts owns of Cards, Chips and More in Salt Lake City.
