Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 1.50 cents higher at $4.1540 a bushel; Sept. corn was 2.50 cent lower at $3.2260 bushel; Sept. oats was unchanged at $1.7640 a bushel; while August soybeans gained 7.25 cents to $10.26 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .40 cent higher at $1.1733 a pound; August feeder cattle was up .50 cent at $1.5963 pound; August lean hogs was up .20 cent to $.6730 a pound.
