This is my last blog from China... tonight I will cover the Closing Ceremonies, which are going on right now. I will write one last story, I will do one last live shot for KSL-5 from Beijing, and then I will pack-up and fly home.

I leave you with my Top Ten from the Beijing Olympics. (The title of my blog has nothing to do with anything. it's just one of my top ten favorite movies, and I had to work it in my blog some how!)

TOP 10

10 Taxi prices. What would be a $25 taxi ride in Salt Lake, was five or six dollars here.

9 Electric bikes. Everyone rides them. I almost bought one, but would have been charged a fortune to ship it home.

8 Pin trading. I really got into it. It was so fun interacting with people from all over the world. I really didn't care what pin I got (however I love my chicken pin), I just wanted to converse with all the different people.

7 The mascots. How cute are they? I am still considering buying the complete set of them stuff, I have no idea what I would do with them, but I love them.

6 The Food. When it wasn't starfish or scorpion, the food was delicious. I am eating a bowl of noodles and mango juice as I write this.

5 The buildings. The Water Cube and Bird's Nest are works of art, and at night mesmerizing. I could not get enough pictures of them. Other unique buildings are scattered around the city, it is incredible.

4 The athletes. It was so cool to be around the top athletes from 205 countries and nations. The bodies of these people were remarkable!

3 The shopping. Everyone told me to bring an extra suitcase... I am so glad I did. I will be wearing a different pearl necklace on air for the next three weeks.

2 The cultural sites. The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace... Wow! What history! There are so many places I did not get to see -- I will be back.

1 The people. They are so kind. So welcoming. So willing to help you. I can not say enough about how impressed I was with the people.

Thank you China.
