BEIJING (AP) -- The U.S. Olympic team has advanced to the semifinals of the Beijing Games with a 116-85 victory against Australia.

The Utah Jazz's Deron Williams scored 10 points, and Carlos Boozer added 4 points.

Former Ute Andrew Bogut, playing for the Australian team, scored 4 points.

Kobe Bryant scored 25 points in his best game of the Olympics and LeBron James added 16 on Wednesday night for the Americans. The United States will face defending gold medalist Argentina or Greece on Friday in the semifinals.
