CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority is adding 365 jobs through the end of the year.
MOHELA announced Tuesday that it will be hiring student loan counselors and loan processors. The authority is based in the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield and already employs about 530 people. It also has offices in Columbia and Washington, D.C.
MOHELA says it plans to expand both its Chesterfield headquarters and the service center in Columbia.
The authority services 1.75 million borrowers and loans worth $39 billion.
