JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) -- Juneau police say a man was arraigned yesterday in connection with a fatal shooting.
Officials say 26-year-old Simone Kim of Anchorage of died from multiple gunshot wounds on Friday afternoon. Authorities say Simone Kim was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say 28-year-old Jason Coday, who came to town recently from Utah, has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Coday was arraigned yesterday on a charge of first-degree murder.
In the arraignment conducted by telephone, Sitka Magistrate Bruce Horton set Coday's bail at one (M) million dollars cash and third party custodian.
Coday is jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
