SALT LAKE CITY — Is it true that you are what you stream? This map suggests it might be!

The team at West Frontier Communications put together an interactive map using Google Trends streaming data to show which major events each state has cared most about so far in 2016. The results were interesting, to say the least.

Do your state's streaming habits match your personal streaming habits?

In case you missed them, here are a few highlights:

  • Utah was one of six states that streamed March Madness more than any other event in 2016. According to a data list from the company's press team, the NBA Finals came in second among Utah streamers.

  • Bernie Sanders' home state, Vermont, streamed the Democratic debate more than any other state in the country. Despite being her party's front runner, Hillary Clinton's home state, Illinois, decided to stream "Lemonade" instead.

  • Maine might just be changing its Democratic ways this election. According to the map, the state streamed the Republican debate more than the rest of the nation. They even beat out streamers in Republican front-runner Donald Trump's home state of New York.

  • Pennsylvania streamed NHL events more than any other event this year. The state's team recently ended up winning the Stanley Cup. Maybe they knew this win would be coming all along?
