SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- An investigation is underway this morning into the shooting deaths of two cats found at Magna Cemetery.
Salt Lake County Animal Services is now looking into the deaths. They claim the healthy and well-fed cats were shot several times each.
Officials say both of the animals were found dead in cat carriers at the entrance of the cemetery.
One of the cats was white and gray, while the other was white with dark markings. There was no apparent identification on the felines.
If anyone has information about this case, they're asked to call the Salt Lake County Animal Services.
