SEATTLE (AP) — An investigation by the Washington state Department of Natural Resources found that tree branches rubbing on a power line started the 2015 blaze near Twisp that killed three firefighters. The Seattle Times reports the DNR document was obtained through a public records request.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A woman accused of poisoning a fellow inmate's coffee while incarcerated has been arrested after warrant for her arrest was issued more than a year ago. KTVB-TV reports that 41-year-old Rocio Contreras-Loya was charged with a felony after law enforcement officials say she put cleaning solution into a different inmate's coffee in 2014 while in Ada County Jail.

STITES, Idaho (AP) — The body of camper who was reported missing in April has been recovered from the river in Stites. KIVI-TV reports that the Idaho County Sheriff's Office was notified on Friday afternoon about a body in the river at the dike in Stites.
