HERRIMAN — Police on Sunday were still sorting through the details of an early morning disturbance in Herriman that left a woman with shooting injuries to her hand and ankle, and man beaten until he was unconscious.
Unified Police Lt. Lex Bell said a couple was having a party at their home, 14463 S. Quiet Shade Drive, when a man asked people to leave and started threatening them with a gun. After several people left, they heard a gunshot and found the shooting victim. She was driven to Riverton Hospital.
Bell said a man was then beaten unconscious. The shooting was reported at 5:15 a.m. Sunday after the woman arrived at the hospital.
