(KSL News) A boy was seriously injured tonight in Sandy.
Police say the 10-year-old was riding his bike down a hill in the area of 10800 South and about 1200 East. He made a turn and was going so fast he lost control and slammed into a car waiting at a stop sign.
Witness Jacqueline Joseph said, "The ambulance people said that he might have internal bleeding and a broken leg."
The boy wasn't wearing a helmet and is being treated for his injuries at the hospital.
