The starting line will be located at the University of Utah's Olympic Legacy Bridge, finishing at 200 East between Library and Washington Squares.
The marathon will close certain roads along the race route from 12 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Road closures include:
- 200 East between Washington and Library Squares from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- 500 South between 300 East and State Street from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Federal Heights Drive and 11th Avenue from 5:30-9 a.m.
- Bonneville Boulevard and State Street from 5:45-9:30 a.m.
- South Temple, 900 East and 1100 East from 5:45-10:30 a.m.
- 1500 East, Sugarhouse Park and 1700 South from 6:15-11 a.m.
- 2100 South, 1700 East, 700 South and 2000 East from 6:15-11:30 a.m.
- 2300 East and Holladay Boulevard from 6:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- 4500 South and 3900 South from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Highland Drive, 2700 South and 600 East from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Liberty Park (east side) from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- 900 South, 300 East, 400 East and 500 East from 6:45-9 a.m.

There will also be a handful of locations for spectators to view the race. Here are some areas where you can watch the race:
- Half & full marathon starting line The University of Utah Wasatch Drive & North Campus Drive from 5:45 - 7:15 a.m.
- 11th Avenue and Bonneville Boulevard from 6-8 a.m.
- Sugarhouse Park at 2100 South & 1900 East from 6:15 - 9:30 a.m.
- Holladay City Hall at 4580 S. 2300 East from 7:45 - 11 a.m.
- Liberty Park at 700 E. 1000 South, East Loop from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Washington and Library Squares at 400 S. 200 East from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
