BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The staff at Your Health Idaho issued a bulletin to insurance agents on March 29, telling them what to do if a client cannot get treatment for a life-threatening illness or injury because of problems with health insurance. "Please be sure to include MEDICAL URGENT in the subject line as well as a detailed description of the client's situation in the message body," the bulletin said.
KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls man has been charged with a felony after wildlife officers said he killed two bull elk and left the meat to waste. The Idaho Mountain Express newspaper (http://bit.ly/1oR9C0d) reports that Franklin Eckrote is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on a felony charge of wasting a trophy elk on April 18. Eckrote has already pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of wasting a spike elk and exceeding the bag limit.
CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — A judge has denied a request from a Canyon County couple to expedite the eviction of a stranger who moved into their vacant home after she entered into a fake lease with someone who claimed to be the owner of the property. KTVB-TV reports that Brian and Renae Prindle have been trying to get Debra Smith out of their Nampa home since they discovered she was living there in March.
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — A 56-year-old southeastern Idaho man has died after getting pinned underneath the pickup truck he was working on. The Idaho State Journal reports that authorities had responded to the home of Terry Freeman near Blackfoot on Friday after his wife found him and called for help.
