SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Latest on a wrongful-arrest lawsuit from a former Miss Utah coming before the Utah Supreme Court (all times local):

Lawyers for a former Miss Utah are asking the Utah Supreme Court to let her sue police over claims that officers wrongly arrested her on bogus allegations that she stole from the skin-care company Nu Skin.
They argued Monday that her case against the city of Provo shouldn't be derailed by a technicality. Provo contends that there are specific rules for suing cities, and the case must be dismissed over a missed court fee.
No deadline was immediate set for the justices to rule.
Elizabeth Craig says she sold surplus product to benefit a charity and police went along with Nu Skin employees who set up a sting to shut down any sales outside of their multi-level marketing structure.
Provo says their officers conducted their own investigation, though criminal charges were later dropped.

The Utah Supreme Court is set to hear from a former Miss Utah who says she was wrongly arrested on bogus allegations that she stole from her former employer, the skin-care company Nu Skin.
The city of Provo is set to ask the high court Monday to toss out the lawsuit from Elizabeth Craig, who says she legally selling surplus product donated by the company for her charity. The charges were dropped in 2010.
She claims Provo police went along with trumped up allegations from Nu Skin employees who set up a sting to shut down any sales outside of their multi-level marketing structure.
Provo says police conducted their own investigation, and they want the justices to reverse an appeal court decision that reinstated the lawsuit last year.
Craig was Miss Utah in 1991-92.
