(KSL News) A baby girl and an adult were thrown from a pick-up truck this afternoon as it rounded a corner in Kearns.
Police say the baby was in a car seat, but apparently it was not secured properly.
"I just dropped everything, ran over. The car seat was upside down. The one girl was lying in the street. There were two people helping her. I ran over to the service station, got some ice, some towels, a little bit of water so they could wipe them down. The baby had a probably good baseball sized knot on its head."
That witness says the truck wasn't going very fast.
