(KSL News) -- A four-year-old boy is recovering from being attacked by a pit bull this afternoon.
The dog belonged to the family and the boy was playing with him when it happened.
The owners requested animal control take the dog away.
The boy was taken by helicopter to Primary Children's with serious injuries to his head.
