SALT LAKE CITY — Veteran Steve Simmons participates in a handcycling clinic in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, in preparation for the 36th National Veterans Wheelchair Games, which will be held in Salt Lake City June 27-July 2.
More than 500 wheelchair athletes, all of them military veterans, are expected to attend the games. The aim of the games is to empower veterans with disabilities to live more active and healthy lives.
