DENVER (AP) — Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant is sitting out the second half to rest his sore right shoulder during his final game in Denver.
Bryant finished with five points in nearly 11 minutes. He came out from the locker room after halftime and immediately put a wrap on his shoulder. Bryant, who's in his final season, sat out Tuesday in a win over Brooklyn at Staples Center.
Fans kept chanting, "We want Kobe," as he sat on the bench. Bryant scored 31 points against the Nuggets on Dec. 22 at the Pepsi Center.
