(KSL News) The 11-year-old boy injured by a homemade firework continues to improve in the hospital.
Bridger Hunt will undergo surgery tomorrow, which will determine if he will be able to keep his leg. He is currently in a drug-induced coma because of the severe pain brought on by his injuries.
Three days ago, the boy was hit by a piece of shrapnel from a homemade firework that was lit by a neighbor. His family says they're not angry at Craig Miller, the man who lit the firework. His mom tells us Miller is distraught over what happened and wants to help in any way he can.
